On the evening of August 26, the 2023 Yangtze River Delta Village Football Invitational and "Zicheng United" Cup Wangdian Super League concluded successfully at the Wangdian Town National Fitness Center. After over a month of intense competition, the final pitted Meixiu Community Team against Zicheng United Team.

As the whistle blew, Zicheng United suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat to Meixiu Community, crowning Meixiu as the new champions of the Wangchao Super League.

Marking its fourth edition, this year's tournament set participation records with 19 teams and nearly 300 players from across the Yangtze River Delta region. Beyond the flagship men's five-a-side competition, the event expanded to include women's football and youth "Junior Wangchao" matches, creating a true football festival for all ages.
