On the evening of July 30, the 2022 Wangdian Town "Zicheng United" Cup Football Festival and the 3rd Farmers' Five-a-Side Football Tournament commenced at the Wangdian Town National Fitness Center. The event was hosted by the People's Government of Wangdian Town, Xiuzhou District, organized by the Wangdian Town Social Affairs Office, Trade Union, and Agriculture and Rural Affairs Office, co-organized by the Wangdian Town Football Association and Jiaxing Luyihua Deng Sports Training Co., Ltd., and exclusively sponsored by Zicheng United Construction Group Co., Ltd. Zhang Hao, Vice President of Zicheng United Construction Group Co., Ltd., attended the opening ceremony.

Under the theme "Common Prosperity, Participation for All," 19 teams will compete over the course of a month. Participants include teams representing Wangdian government agencies, villages (communities), enterprises, and schools, as well as invited teams from Honghe government agencies, the Honghe Football Association, and joint teams formed by relevant municipal and district departments.
