On March 6, 2026, Chen Hairong, Vice President of Jinhua Polytechnic, led a delegation comprising representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the School of Architectural Engineering to visit Zicheng United Construction Group Co., Ltd. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as jointly promoting the internationalization of vocational education, overseas talent cultivation, and technical collaboration services. Jiang Guohua, Chairman of the Group, and Ma Xiupeng, President, attended the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, Chairman Jiang Guohua extended a warm welcome to the university delegation on behalf of the Group and provided a detailed overview of the Group's overseas business development. Chairman Jiang stated that with the continuous acceleration of infrastructure construction in Africa, there is an increasingly urgent demand for localized technical and skilled talents in fields such as civil engineering and electrical automation. Currently, the talent shortage has become a critical bottleneck restricting the sustainable development of overseas projects. Vice President Chen Hairong introduced Jinhua Polytechnic's practices and achievements in international cooperation and exchange, particularly in advancing the localization of vocational education in Africa. He highlighted the construction progress and educational outcomes of the Musanze International Institute in Rwanda.
Subsequently, the two sides conducted pragmatic and constructive exchanges on key issues, including pathways for the internationalization of vocational education, mechanisms for school-enterprise collaborative education, and models for overseas technical services. They confirmed a plan to jointly establish a "Lu Ban Workshop Enterprise Classroom" at Zicheng United Construction Group's Rwanda branch. Concurrently, in coordination with local Rwandan institutions, they will implement an innovative "China-Africa Synergy, School-Enterprise Co-Education" dual-degree educational model. This initiative aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents urgently needed by the African infrastructure market.
